We are committed to working with families who want to grow their family through adoption. While we are not currently placing infants or children in adoptive families, we are offering the following service:
Pre-placement home studies for families working with an out-of-state, international agency or who are adopting from the child welfare system. F.A.C.T. works cooperatively with other agencies to provide the home-study and related requirements. The home-study process includes all required post adoption updates (usually 3, 6, and 9 month updates) and post-adoption support.
Our social workers are licensed in the state of Maine and understand all aspects of the adoption process.
